The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), committed to developing transportation improvements that best balance transportation needs, the environment, community concerns and costs, will hold a Virtual Public Information Center (PIC) to provide local residents, public officials, and the business community with information on the Route 4 Bridge over Palisade Avenue, Windsor Road, and CSX Railroad Bridge Improvement project. You are encouraged to actively participate by providing comments by mail or e-mail.

Additional Details
The purpose of the project is to address the poor structural conditions of the Route 4 Bridge over Palisade Avenue, Windsor Road, and CSX Railroad Bridge. The proposed project includes the following:
- The structurally deficient bridge will be replaced with a five span bridge at 505' long and 102.5' wide
- The new bridge will accommodate three 11' lanes in each direction, including one auxiliary lane with 10' right shoulders and a 5.5' sidewalk on the south side of the structure.
- Existing overhead utilities along Route 4 eastbound will be relocated to local roads.
